They reveal themselves to those<br \/>\nwho explore their surroundings with curiosity.<br \/>\nSince 2010, McKiev\u2014our backyard studio located on Sandweg in Frankfurt\u2019s Nordend-Ost, near<br \/>\nthe lively lower Berger Stra\u00dfe\u2014has become an insider tip among creative minds.<br \/>\nAs artists, we often work alone. Moments of meaningful, creative exchange with like-minded<br \/>\npeople are precious\u2014but rare. We didn\u2019t want to accept that. We wanted to meet others, to create a<br \/>\nspace where people could express themselves creatively, draw inspiration from communication, and<br \/>\ninspire one another.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s how the idea of offering courses was born.<br \/>\nThis is exactly where we come in. McKiev, in the heart of Frankfurt, has established itself as an<br \/>\nopen artist studio\u2014a place that fosters connection, community, and brings artistic visions to life.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">The McKievs<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The core energy of McKiev comes from the duo Natalia Makievski \u2014a freelance visual artist and Stephan Makievski a free spirit whose work is rooted in nature and wilderness, percussion,<br \/>\nand movement. Both have academic backgrounds, strong charisma, and a deep, enduring passion<br \/>\nfor sharing their knowledge.<br \/>\nWhat makes McKiev special is the way we combine our many years of teaching experience into a<br \/>\nkind of synergistic \u201ccocktail,\u201d which we serve in a competent, individual, and personal way.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">Individual guidance without rigid curricula<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">We are not a school in the traditional sense. We don\u2019t follow fixed plans or programs.<br \/>\nInstead, we focus on each individual who comes to us\u2014their wishes, their goals. Our expertise is<br \/>\nlike a treasure chest, always within reach, offering the right \u201cgem\u201d at the right moment for each<br \/>\nproject we accompany.<br \/>\nOur person-centered approach\u2014similar to one-on-one teaching\u2014requires small group sizes of<br \/>\nabout 7 to 10 participants. This allows for intensive individual guidance while also creating space<br \/>\nfor exchange and mutual inspiration.<br \/>\nAt first glance, the lively atmosphere of the studio might seem a bit chaotic. But look closer, and<br \/>\nyou\u2019ll see: everyone is working on their own project, receiving exactly the support they need.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"western\">A diverse range of courses<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]McKiev offers:<br \/>\n\u2022 Painting and drawing classes<br \/>\n\u2022 Ceramics (pottery and sculpting)<br \/>\n\u2022 Drum workshops and sound art<br \/>\n\u2022 Qi Gong and Tai Chi<\/p>\n<p>The variety of themes, the warm and relaxed, almost family-like atmosphere, the flexibility,<br \/>\nindividuality, openness, and mutual respect among participants \u2014 all of this is what make McKiev so<br \/>\nspecial.
